Inconsistent policies, rude customer service. Holds funds for excessive time. Change in my checking perks...but Im expected to pay more fees. Lied to at branch then chastised by customer service. Do not bank here the employees are concerned only with their own agenda. Bank is not consistent with it's policies.

By far the worst experience we have dealt with. Poor customer service , blatant lies and cover up to the loan processor and essentially stole $400 of our money. Never in my life have I seen such incompetence !

Have talked to several people at 5/3 Old kent number is disconected, I have signed title. but now have to contact the original owner. Loan is from 12 years ago and they never got pay off letter from old Kent now 5/3. Wish me luck as I fear this is going to be a pending disaster. I have has trouble getting a hold of old owner. Will see if state of Michigan can help? OR it looks like I will be driving my boat illegally the rest of the summer.... Read more

The WORST bank. We only have an auto loan through them. Customer service stinks..ive been making payments over the phone due to my payment got lost in the mail.all the sudden i get a person to talk to. I cant get through to make a payment automaticly through the phone so now i have t pay an extra $15 to do so. Worst bank ever

I was duped into purchasing ther disability insurance for the auto I have financed through Fifth Third Bank. Now that I am on disability due to knee surgery, GUESS WHAT! I can't get anyone on the phone that can help me. They keep transferring me all over the place. And that happens only after holding forever. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to form a Class Action Suite.

im on hold for over 30 minutes, i explain my issue in less than 2 sentences. the agent says her computer is frozen and she has to transfer me to another agent but she just transfers me back into the *** to be on hold for another 30 minutes. she did not even give me a chance to respond, she just said she was transferring me and clicked her phone, so rude. Got behind on mortgage. Called to make payment arrangements. Was given an amount and agreed to repayment terms. Received in writing. Four months into 6 month repayment plan it was found my escrow balance was not included into the repayment without my knowledge. This the biggest Mickey Mouse operation. Sorry Mickey. I have 800+ credit score and a 20% loan to value outstanding. A second position equity line would put the loan to value under 50%. DENIED!!!! High risk!!! The property was appraised for $2,000,000.00. Fifth Third did a drive by. What was he smoking. Went to MB Financial 25 days $500,000.00 APPROVED. Daughter moving to Thailand, we went to bank and told them and added me to the account as well. 2 weeks into her year long stay, Fifth Third blocked her account due to 'suspicious activity' --- well yeah that's why we told you she was going there!!! It took 3 in person visits with lots of misinformation given to me in terms of phone numbers for her to call (which didn't work) to get it resolved.
