Verified ReviewerNo Fraud Protection for Wisely Card
Everyone should be aware that Wisely does not really have any fraud protections for their cards. I was recently a victim of the nationwide Chick-fil-A app fraud where funds were withdrawn from my Wisely card without my knowledge or permission.
I called Wisely and should have realized right away this was going nowhere. They said they had to send me a form to fill out, being sent in the mail taking up to 10 business days. And, no, the form was not online and couldnt be emailed to me. Is this the 90s?!?
Then, unlike many places, of course there was no provisional credit of the stolen funds.
In the end, their investigation led them to the conclusion that there was no fraud. If Wisely/Fifth Third doesnt think there is any fraud in an instance where a simple Google search will show in the news that the Chick-fil-A app fraud is happening, then there is no hope that they would ever consider a situation as fraudulent.
- Wisely card servicing is severely lacking

Filed dispute
Preferred solution: Full refund
When I call to make a car payment I ALWAYS have to wait 45 minutes to 1 1/2hours before my call is answered.
Preferred solution: Additional interest waved since I have tried twice to make my car payment and the wait time was extremely long or your office was closed when your customer service reps have stated payment could be made on weekends.
User's recommendation: When calling to make a payment plan on being on the phone a minimum of two hours.
Resolved: Dispute transaction
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
Preferred solution: My call answered and disputed transactions resolved
User's recommendation: Never use their call back system
I can't login online it has locked me out

Verified Reviewer | Bonita Springs, FloridaFunds NOT available from $54k check deposited 14 DAYS AGO
To make this situation even more ridiculous, they sent me a letter stating their holding my 54k check but to make the situation much easier on me they would refund any over drafts or returned checks.! They didn't give me any checks or a debit card! Due to the fact they...
Then told me 2-4 days. I made an appointment at the bank the following day. I met with a "customer service " person she told me the same lie it should be available by Monday. Memorial weekend 12 days later my funds are still NOT available.
This was an inheritance check written by my brother. He checked with the bank the check was written on. It was cashed and paid the day after that deposit was made in 5/3 bank. What gives them the right to hold my money for 14 days??.
There's no risk here. Not 1 but 3 people lied to me to get me to open an account with this poor excuse of a bank. I could have deposited the money in my joint account with my fiance at Bank of America and the funds would have been available a week ago on Monday. 5/3 gives nothing but lip service.
Not only that the customer service woman who will fail to name Didn't even bother to answer my 2 emails questioning why she told me the funds would be available to get me to open an account. I also contacted the customer service numerous times I was told anywhere from 7-14 days my money would be available. I then I then called the branch manager , She was rude and dismissive and told me everything I told her was wrong And she claims it happened differently to cover her lying *** They are LIARS THIEVES & CROOKS. This is criminal who do these banks think they are..
I have 11 more checks coming And I guarantee you not 1 of them Will be deposited in a Fifth & Third Bank.
Use somebody else's money. If the only way you can get people to do business with you is by lying to them I suggest you close your doors because you have nothing to offer But lips service.
- Make false promises with a straight face
- Lie to get your business
- Customer experience
- Incompetent employee
Preferred solution: I will close my account immediately. I don't need an empty excuse or apology from them. I just . I just dont want others to make the same mistake .

Verified ReviewerMB Financial Lien Release
We recently purchaE.sed a vehicle which has listed an MB Financial Lien on the title. The owners listed on the title are quite elderly, the husband has died and the wife is somewhat cognitively limited. In short, the owners who took out the original loan are unable to help us get a clear title. The original loan was made in the names of: {{Redacted}}, OK 74019
The lien was made against one 2017 Yamaha ATV with {{Redcated}} in 2018.
My question is quite simple: is this lien still in effect or was it removed prior to the Bartles selling the vehicle?
Please help me resolve this situation, because my only recourse is to file criminal complaints or Civil complaints against this elderly widow. I have absolutely no desire to do harm to a little lady battling her own difficulties.
Regards,
Dr. Tim Brooker
Preferred solution: Simple information of whether a lien has been removed on a vehicle I recently purchased.
User's recommendation: I have found this bank to be impossible to contact....I'm not sure they even exist.

Verified ReviewerAbsolutely horendous
I wrote a review about Costco. I finally gotten resolve with them!
They refunded the full amount of my money. The problem is with the debit card I got through my work UPS. Over a course of nearly three months of fighting to get back my money that this ignorant card company keeps rejecting the full refund from Costco Not once, or twice, but three times.
The issue was never Costco, and it's been explained in far better detail by the staff I spoke with. The issue said that the debit card issuer keeps rejecting the full refund that Costco has issued three times.
This card company is beyond *** me off. Costco requested the funds reversed and returned, which didn't happen because wisely refuses to accept it. All I want is my damn money back. I can't pay my bills because this bank has been taking my paycheck every week.
Including my state tax, which I had received last month. I've never trusted banks, and this why I don't like using them. I have cash app and have had them for four yrs. Never been an issue but wisely, third, fifth bank is a huge nightmare and super hard to deal with.
Let alone work with. The staff are rude as *** and hang up if you make more sense than they do.
After this is done and fixed, I'd love to get rid of them, but not fast enough can I.
Any legal help would be advised. Because I want my freaking money back from this crooked card company or bank.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Avoid wisely or third fifth bank
I am unable to find anyone by phone who does what I ask.
My credit card was compromised, I waited for 40 minutes to talk to the fraud department, asked that my card be canceled, they instead blocked it for 30 days. More fraudulent charges the day the block expired, I called again, went through the same routine, waited over an hour this time (why do I need to go through three people??) and told them to CANCEL my card again.
Today, October 2, I got a notice that there was yet another fraudulent charge and the card was not canceled. I called my local branch where the customer service gal, was embarrassed and apologized profusely.
YET, she had to hang up with me to see if "someone in the back room could cancel my card." I really wanted to keep my account with 5/3, but this is absurd and I will find another bank with better service. It won't take much to be better!
User's recommendation: Do not get a 5/3 credit card. They are easily compromised, easy to ***
