After [PERSON_NAME] left fifth third, a turnover of new personnel has been too frequent. When I asked for how much is charged for depositing foreign money, I was told 3%.
Wrong!!! I checked with different banks and the charge is $15. I emailed the manager, no reply. After calling the bank, I found out he is gone.
However, he is still listed as the manager. I tried to make a complaint online via chat and had to wait 25min. Not for me.
I want to leave, but at age 82, it is a lot of work.
Maybe another bank can help me do the work of switching. Enough is enough.

I finally resolved the issue myself by entering a new ID and password.
It is a joke, does not exist in the real world. When I call their # it is a 20 minute wait no matter what time I call.

Everything used to work fine until about 3 weeks ago when you "enhanced" your security. It hasn't worked right since!!!

Verified ReviewerResolved: I've had $3400,00 stolen out of my checking account and they were only going to reimburse half the money, I had to fight with them for a month.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
I took my money out of that bank and went to Guardian Savings Bank. Will never deal with those people again.

The issue was with their mobil app. The error was resolved.
Call a banker. They can normally fix the problem.
To much run around to try and report a lost debit card. The inormation requested would have me drive 20 miles home to get it. I won't use this method again.

Fifth Third is CRAP
- Two unauthorized withdrawals: $1,000 via PayPal and $500.
- Promised to freeze the account but another withdrawal occurred.
- Do not bank with them.
They do not do what they say! Someone went in and took $1K through PayPal.
They told me they were going to freeze my account so no money would come out. They lied to me because now someone went in and took another $500 out. Fifth Third is garbage and does not protect your money. Do not bank with them.
I am so pissed at this bank. They are worthless pieces of crap.

I had tried to take money out of my genie. I want it large bills and the genie did not have them so I canceled that transaction and I went to the next machine and it was in the same way. No large bill

I could not create online account for newly created auto loan. I have all of the necessary details, but system said it cannot be done online so I called the customer service line.

Just to set up an online account to pay them. Very dissatisfied with 53 and will just pay off the loan through BofA.

- New card request denied.
- APR and credit limit requests denied; considering moving funds.
I moved from Ohio where they are based to Pennsylvania (less than an hour over the border). Since making that move trying to get anything done has been a nightmare.
I asked about a product change to a new card and was told I was out of luck. Asked about lowering my APR, sorry no can do. Asked about increasing the credit limit on my account that I've had for 6+ years without a single missed payment, was told they refuse to do that since I'm no longer in-market.
What's the point of advertising online banking if you're screwed by moving. Guess I'll be taking my money elsewhere.
